Transitioning Process

Provided they meet medical necessity, clients may enter our Intensive Outpatient Program for an estimated length of stay of approximately 12 weeks in total. Clients will receive 9 to 15 hours of group therapy with the same cohorts from their Partial Hospitalization Program and clients who are in our Outpatient Program. Clients will continue to reside within our onsite structured sober living environment.

Professional Orientation

During our Intensive Outpatient Program:

  • Clients are aided with the process of creating a professional resume.
  • Creating accounts for jobsites.
  • Provided with education about interviewing techniques and attires.

Clients are provided with very close oversight, as they are required to be in the local community searching for employment between the hours of 10AM until 4PM.

Each day clients will check-in with staff members to notify of any progress made and this information is communicated company wide. We have found due to our location and proximity to down-town Delray Beach all clients are able to procure full-time work within a 1-2-week period provided they are actively engaged and searching. Further, clients are provided with alumni who are employed within the local community and can aid with vocational opportunities.

Opportunities and reintegration

Intensive Outpatient is the most crucial time within each client’s recovery efforts. It is Intensive Outpatient in which they are faced with attempting to resume responsibilities in areas of social, recreational, and occupational activities in a recovery-oriented lifestyle. Clients will also continue to attendance at least 5 AA meetings per week, meet with their sponsor weekly, and communicate with their sponsor regularly. Oversight is provided of client’s step work efforts to ensure completion of needed AA step work to include steps four and five prior to transition to the Aftercare / Outpatient Program.
